I am senior data scientist with Google for 15years now, so please let others know about this business. They pretend that they are professionals, the reality they are NOT. I will be definitely be doing unlocks with them again, no matter the time delay. Customer service was nice (shoutout to Ulrik Bengtsson, the Customer Service guy) In short words, they we're very helpful to me, and it seemed nice that they stuck with me and helped my case after all that time. I followed the instructions and my phone was unlocked, thanks to the help of UnlockBase and their firmware provider and technician. They finally found a firmware unlock for the phone, and they offered to cover the costs of it because of the time I'd been waiting. They refunded me the amount that I paid for the unlock, even though they kept working for a solution, and contact was kept through email (communication was super good, the person would respond to emails very quickly and try their best to resolve any problems). Then they put the phones IMEI through a beta test batch, in which they couldn't unlock it because of a problem on Tracfone's side of things. A couple of days went by, and they told me that their Tracfone supplier wasn't really "cooperating".
I wanted to unlock a Samsung A13 5G locked to Tracfone, so I found UnlockBase and paid to get it unlocked (which is a simple, easy process). However, it's worth noting that they did ultimately deliver on their promise, albeit with significant effort on my part. If you're considering using UnlockBase for phone unlocking services, be prepared for potential delays and communication challenges. While I'm happy with the final outcome, the lengthy process and the effort it took to push the company to complete their job were frustrating. I appreciate his intervention and the eventual resolution of my issue. During this time, communication from UnlockBase was unclear, and it was difficult to get a straight answer about the status of my unlock request or the reasons for the delays.ĭespite these issues, I must acknowledge that Sam, the CEO of UnlockBase, personally reached out to me and provided the assistance I needed to unlock my phone. However, it took them four months to deliver the service I paid for.
I paid $100 for their phone unlocking service and expected a smooth process. I recently used UnlockBase to unlock my phone, and although the final outcome was satisfactory, the journey was quite challenging.
